Jason Ambrose

Jason brings over 15 years of experience in a variety of technical, entrepreneurial and business leadership positions to the Ascentium CRM Practice. Most recently, he was responsible for the Microsoft practice at Blackstone Technology Group. Jason has helped sell to and support a wide variety of enterprise clients throughout his career in a number of sectors, including Cisco, Mercury Interactive, California ISO, Tokyo Gas, Ford, Intel, Netscape, Yahoo!, the Dept. of Defense, and Pacific Gas and Electric. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stanford University.

Mark Barrett
Partner, Chief Executive Officer
Mark leads the Ascentium CRM Practice’s sales, marketing, strategic alliances, and go-to-market initiatives. He is the Company interface to Microsoft on all go-to-market related activities. Prior to joining the Ascentium CRM Practice, Mark was the President of Invoke Systems, where he was responsible for leading the sales team and overall revenue growth. Prior to Invoke, Mark worked as a Division Manager for Analytic Services Inc., where he was responsible for managing all operations of a business unit that provided network engineering services for various Department of Defense customers. He holds a bachelor of science in systems analysis from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Aaron Elder
Partner, Chief Technology Officer
Aaron has 13 years of experience in the software development industry prior to joining the Ascentium CRM Practice as part of the Invoke acquisition. He leads the technical team in the CRM Practice. Aaron provides oversight on solution designs and the technical approach to CRM solutions. He also writes and delivers training to .NET developers on using the Microsoft CRM platform for xRM development. Prior to Invoke, Aaron worked for Microsoft, and played a critical role in the release of two versions of their CRM product and was instrumental in the shipping of a third version. Aaron continues to work closely with Microsoft’s CRM Product Team to further develop the application as well as educate Microsoft Partners and Users. He is certified in numerous Microsoft technologies, a published author on Microsoft CRM, and a 3 year Microsoft MVP.

Jason Hunt
Partner, Chief Solution Architect
Jason has 15 years of experience working in the software industry. After five years in the US Army, Jason worked at numerous product companies like MicroStrategy, iCommunicate and Microsoft. While at Microsoft Jason was an Architect/Senior Developer on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM product and later moved into Product Management where he traveled the world evangelizing the product while still in its infancy. At Invoke Systems Jason served as the CTO and was responsible for defining the role of Solution Architect and for pioneering the idea of xRM.

David Kohar

David has spent the past 10 years in the CRM industry consulting with organizations on improving and enabling better interactive marketing, sales and customer service. David started his CRM career working with Maximizer and then moved to Pivotal Corporation in 1998 where he ran the Business Impact Group. In 2002, David helped start a professional services company that completely focused on delivering successful CRM engagements using Microsoft CRM and has been working with the product prior to the 1.0 release.

Ross’ work as the CRM lead architect on a multitude of Fortune 100 company projects, has helped Ascentium earn numerous awards over the last 5 years. Ross also delivers technical training to customers, ISV’s and partners globally and thought leadership to the Microsoft community. He is a 2 year Microsoft CRM MVP and has received this honor for his outstanding contributions to the CRM user and partner community.

Kelly Putnam brings 23 years of experience to Ascentium ranging from financial experience as a CPA and CFO in the software industry to direct sales. Kelly has focused her sales efforts in selling professional services and software solutions into Commercial Enterprise accounts and Federal and State Government agencies. Kelly’s background as a CPA and CFO in the software industry provides a breadth of knowledge that enhances her approach to sales and understanding client needs. Kelly is a graduate of University of Richmond, E. Claiborne Robins School of Business.

Beth Rimmer
Associate Partner, Project Manager
As an Associate Partner, Project Manager and Senior Analyst Beth has worked hand-in-hand with Sales and Marketing organizations to visualize and deliver business value while managing profitability and risk accordingly. She’s known for working hand-in-hand with her customers and rolling up her sleeves with the implementation team to ensure success. Beth has nearly 10 years experience producing B2B and B2C solutions including web sites and content management solutions, sales force automation tools, CRM and xRM solutions. She’s passionate about attracting, converting and retaining customers through the use of the web and mining the data for better corporate visibility and decision making ability.
Beth has supported a wide variety of clients throughout her career in a number of sectors, including Macmillan Cancer Support in the United Kingdom, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Microsoft, Genentech, Viking River Cruises, Mitsubishi Digital Electric America, E! Entertainment, DHL, Intermec, Jensen Distribution, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and AT&T Wireless.
Before joining Ascentium, Beth started her career as a Quality Management Analyst. She worked her way to become a Quality Management Lead, Senior Business Analyst and then a Team Lead for Avenue A-Razorfish before joining Ascentium in 2004. Beth holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. She is a Microsoft Certified Business Professional and a Certified Scrum Manager (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance.

Brian Rimmer
Partner, Account Executive
Brian has over 10 years of consulting experience in designing, developing, managing and selling technical and marketing solutions that add value, drive top-line revenue, and reduce bottom line costs for our customers. Brian has held numerous roles at Ascentium including Project Manager, Business Development Manager, Solution Architect and Director of CRM in EMEA. In this latter role, Brian focused on building our CRM team in London that could market, design, and develop solutions to support Relationship Management programs for our customers outside of the U.S. Brian is now back in the states and, in his current role, is focused on developing business on the West Coast.

Vishal Sarkar
Partner, CRM Principal Consultant
As Practice Director and Principal Consultant, Vishal is charged with delivering world-class CRM solutions to Ascentium clients. Vishal has more than 13 years experience in the Enterprise Solutions space, helping organizations successfully strategize, develop and implement solutions like SAP, Pivotal and Microsoft CRM. He has led many teams and has experience and expertise on all areas of CRM initiatives – customer management, sales force automation, marketing and service management, as well as implementing business solutions that use Dynamics CRM as a platform (xRM). He has also helped several companies with business process definition and established customer support operations.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Vishal worked with GrapeCity Inc., where he served as Director of Business Solutions team with responsibility for pre-sales, delivery, team management, and business development for North America. Vishal has successfully delivered CRM solutions across India, China, Japan, the Middle East, and the United States.
Some of the notable clients he has worked with are City Of Bellevue, Kitsap County, Convergys, Microsoft, Boeing Employees Credit Union, Captaris, WATG, Insightful Corp., ERG Transit, ComponentOne, WhosCalling, Prudential Corporation of Asia, Syngenta China, Fonterra New Zealand, HCL India and Dubai Internet City.
Vishal also served as the president of the Northwest/Seattle chapter of the Customer Relationship Management Association (CRMA) and as an Advisor to the leading CRM Web site, www.crmguru.com. He continues to participate in community discussions and most recently lead a roundtable discussion for the Pacific Northwest CRM User Group on best practices for implementing CRM.

Michael Speca

Michael brings 14 years of consulting and operations experience to Ascentium’s CRM practice, where he currently leads the delivery and sales strategy for all work focused in the Public Sector. Prior to joining the Ascentium CRM Practice, Michael was the Chief Operating Officer of Invoke Systems, where he oversaw the delivery and operations teams. Prior to taking the COO position, Michael served as the VP for the Systems Management division as well as Program Manager and Technical Lead for Invoke’s largest account, the Air Force Pentagon Communications Agency. Before Invoke, Michael worked as Marketing Manager for Global Aviation, an aviation consulting and lobbying group. Michael is a graduate of George Washington University.

Jim Stout
Partner, Executive Vice President of DoD Programs
Jim Stout has over 20 years of technology industry experience. As the EVP of DoD Programs at Ascentium Federal, Ascentium’s government-focused subsidiary, Jim leads the product development and deployment strategy for all xRM engagements to DoD customers. Jim is a recognized expert on Task and Staff Action management as well as other DoD business process. Prior to joining the Ascentium CRM Practice, Jim was the Chief Executive Officer of Invoke Systems. Jim is a seasoned consultant who has led many business transformations in either executive positions or as an outside service provider. Prior to joining industry Jim was a Captain in the US Army Signal Corp. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University.
